Galvalume is an Aluminum 55% + Zinc (43.4%) +1.6% Silicon, alloy that offers greater corrosive resistance, higher temperature oxidation resistance, and higher heat reflectivity than traditional galvanized steel.
How long will Galvalume last? Research conducted by the Metal Construction Association (MCA) indicates that Galvalume roofing could last as long as 40 to 50+ years without any extreme signs of corrosion. |
